Major Jonathan Ladd

Jonathan Ladd received an honorable discharge from President Andrew Johnson which modified his original dismissal record. Ladd was dismissed in June, 1865 for selling pocket watches to soldiers. Ladd received a share of profits on the watches which was against regulations.
